Thermalytica Inc. is a deep tech startup focusing on providing innovative material solutions to help customers lower their carbon footprints. The company offers its patented TIISA® thermal insulation material, catering to various sectors such as energy infrastructure, aviation and space, EVs, power electronics, global hydrogen supply chain, net-zero energy buildings, and functional textiles. Founded in 2021, Thermalytica is the 16th spin-out company from National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and has received direct investment from NIMS, backed by the Japanese government. Additionally, the company was selected as a J-Startup in 2023 by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). The latest milestone for Thermalytica was a ¥112.50M Series A investment on 10 March 2023, led by KSP, Tsukuba Center, and National Institute for Materials Science. With a strong technological foundation and government support, Thermalytica is well-positioned for growth in the sustainable materials market.
