Agrocon Albania Sh.p.k. is an Albanian private company established in 2013 that focuses on agriculture, specifically the production of fresh vegetables in greenhouses and open fields, as well as wholesale distribution primarily for export. With a total area of around 30 Ha, it is one of the largest producing farms in Albania, located in the fertile area of Ngurrez e Vogel village, Lushnje.
The company has made substantial investments in various areas including a 28.42 Ha production area consisting of 10 Ha of Gothic type greenhouses, 13 Ha of open field, and plans for 5 Ha of tunnels for strawberry growth. Additionally, investments have been made in climatic and irrigation systems, agricultural mechanics, treatment inputs, and staff, leading to the farm being one of the most modernized and comprehensive in the country.
Agrocon Albania is the only company in the region producing fresh vegetables certified by Global Gap standards (GGN 4056186669025), which has enabled the expansion of export markets, particularly in European countries. Since February 2017, the company has transformed into a strategic point in the area for the production and distribution of fresh vegetables for export, thanks to investments in supporting logistics.
It is important to note that Agrocon Albania Sh.p.k. is part of Balfin group, one of the largest investment groups in Albania and the region, known for its success in strategic sectors of national development and competitiveness in international markets.
