Center for Ungdomsforskning (CeFU) is a research center at the Department of Culture and Learning at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. CeFU is one of the leading and most agenda-setting youth research environments in the Nordic region. The research at CeFU is characterized by its holistic approach, youth involvement, and practical relevance.
The lifeline of Center for Youth Research is its connection to the world outside the university. This means that research takes place in close collaboration with members of CeFU, organizations, ministries, and other entities in contact with young people. At the same time, we are a research center at a university with high standards for the knowledge we produce.
Our primary focus is on young people and their perspectives. In a society divided into sectors, CeFU transcends youth life as it exists today. We call it a 360-degree youth perspective and strive to examine issues across various areas of life, education, legislation, scientific disciplines, youth life, and much more. At the same time, it is our ambition through research to make a difference for young people today and in the future.
