CERO Recycling is India’s first organized vehicle recycling company brought to you by Mahindra Accelo and MSTC. Cero, which means zero, aims to achieve Zero pollution, Zero wastage, and Zero import of metal scraps. Established in 2018, it is India’s maiden organized auto shredding venture and vehicle recycling unit. The company recycles specialized steels and non-ferrous metals present in automobiles, with the goal of reducing India's dependence on steel scrap imports, currently pegged at 8 million tonnes annually. This not only helps in cleaning the air but also contributes to making the roads safer.
Furthermore, CERO Recycling is focused on generating employment opportunities and aligning with the vision of ‘Make in India’. The first Cero plant is based in Delhi NCR, with plans for aggressive expansion across India. With the backing of Mahindra Accelo and MSTC Ltd. (a Government of India Enterprise), CERO Recycling holds significant promise in addressing environmental concerns while contributing to the economy and employment sector.
