Since its establishment in 1878, Citterio has been committed to crafting premium Italian meat products, including prosciutto, salami, and cooked hams, using carefully selected meats and a meticulous production process that blends tradition and technology.
In 1974, Citterio expanded its operations to the United States, opening its first factory in Freeland, Pennsylvania, in response to the increasing demand in the American market. Despite its growth, the company remains a family-run business, with direct management by the descendants of Giuseppe Citterio.
Today, Citterio continues to prioritize innovation, traditional flavors, and, above all, quality, as it remains dedicated to meeting the needs of its consumers.
