Founded in 1975, CRi, also known as Community Residences, has been dedicated to changing the institutional treatment of individuals with mental illness. With a focus on providing support within their home communities, CRi offers services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental illness diagnoses across Virginia and certain areas in Maryland.
As a recognized leader in the Health Care and Health and Wellness industries, CRi collaborates with public and private partners to ensure individuals receive the necessary support to thrive in their communities. The organization's commitment to innovation, ethical practice, and growth is evident in its provision of medical, therapeutic, educational, vocational, residential, and integrative recreational services to over 800 individuals in 2022.
CRi's services extend throughout Northern Virginia, including Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church, as well as Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Richmond counties. Mental health services are also offered in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Montgomery counties in Maryland.
