EastHUB

EastHUB is a Bellevue-based nonprofit organization with the slogan "EastHUB: Culture Creates Community." Founded in 2020, the company's primary objective is to unite public and private partners to transform the Eastside into a vibrant cultural ecosystem. EastHUB aims to build an arts and cultural network that genuinely reflects diversity by engaging individuals from various racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds to determine the most beneficial cultural spaces and resources for the community.

The organization is guided by principles emphasizing love for marginalized communities, a reexamination of the traditional nonprofit arts model with an antiracist and inclusive lens, and the centering of antiracism, inclusivity, and multiculturalism in its leadership. Additionally, every operational policy, procedure, and practice undergoes careful scrutiny from an antiracist and anti-oppression perspective before implementation.

EastHUB's recent milestone includes a $22.50K grant investment received on April 4, 2023, with the funding coming from notable investors, the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and ArtsFund. With its unique mission and inclusive approach to cultural development, EastHUB presents an innovative model for building a more diverse and vibrant cultural ecosystem on the Eastside.
