Founded in 2002 in Chile, e-certchile is a leading national market player in electronic certification and billing, offering products and services based on digital signature technology (CRYPTOGRAPHY) to enhance security and trust in e-commerce transactions. The company, established by the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS) with support from CORFO, fulfills two core roles in electronic certification: issuing and managing digital certificates, and serving as a validating entity for certificate requests.

E-CERTCHILE, the National Electronic Certification Entity of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, has been licensed to issue Advanced Digital Signature Certificates according to Exempt Resolution N° 317, dated August 14, 2003, by the Subsecretariat of Economy, Development, and Reconstruction. The accreditation process validated E-CERTCHILE's facilities, systems, software programs, and human resources, allowing its registration as a Certification Services Provider in accordance with Law N° 19.799 on electronic documents and signatures.
