About FEMTIKA

FEMTIKA

Femtika is a spin-off business from Vilnius University's Laser Research Center that was founded in 2013 by a group of professionals with years of experience in 3D laser precision micro processing.

The company specializes in hybrid microfabrication technologies: universal tool using femtosecond laser - Laser Nanofactory workstation for multiphoton polymerization, laser ablation, selective laser etching technologies. Additionally, Femtika provides this field's research services.

The company's goal is to meet the rising need for available tools and technologies on a global scale, enabling genuine 3D laser fabrication of custom design components in micro- and sub-micro scale. Microstructures provided by Femtika are used in development of new future products in semiconductors, photonics, medical, automotive, space industries and etc.

Our workstations „Laser Nanofactory“ is a user-oriented product, with simple-to-use interface which also allows a high-end user to exploit all the capabilities provided by the femtosecond laser processing. All the parameters of the system are controlled by the provided proprietary software 3DPoli. As a result, changing from one fabrication mode to another is a matter of setting parameters in the software and changing the focusing optics. Also, system is highly tunable, with the possibility to add additional functionalities. This allows us to satisfy even the most demanding customers. Alternatively, the system can be oriented for maximal throughput allowing industrial scale use.
