Funerarias La Auxiliadora was founded on March 6, 1958, in San Salvador with the goal of becoming the leading funeral services company in El Salvador. Over the years, it has evolved to become the most experienced and traditional company in the funeral industry.
In its early days, the company was known as Auxiliadora S.A., primarily selling funeral insurance policies. Gradually, it gained the trust and preference of its customers. In 1965, the company constructed a building on Av. Olímpica and 63 Av. Sur in San Salvador, which was inaugurated on June 25 of the same year. In March 1974, it underwent a transformation, rebranding as Brillat S.A de C.V and introducing funeral service contracts, revolutionizing funeral practices in El Salvador.
Throughout its history, La Auxiliadora has been committed to its slogan, "The Support Your Family Needs," striving to provide assistance across El Salvador. It currently boasts the most extensive coverage in the country, with viewing rooms in San Salvador, Santa Tecla, Sonsonate, and Santa Ana. In the eastern region, it offers funeral services through strategic alliances with local funeral homes.
