Gojimo is an EdTech startup founded in 2009 by George Burgess to address the lack of quality educational apps. Initially launched with support from his teachers, the platform gained popularity, leading to partnerships with renowned educational publishers such as Oxford University Press and McGraw-Hill Education.
In March 2017, Gojimo was acquired by Telegraph Media Group, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The company attracted investments from prominent European investors such as Index Ventures and JamJar Investments, the consumer venture fund established by the founders of innocent drinks.
The last notable investment was a $1.80M Seed Round from investors including London Co-Investment Fund, Miroma Ventures, Firestartr, Code Investing, Robin Klein, Deborah Quazzo, and Saul Klein on 22 December 2015.
