Graphene Flagship is a leading initiative in the field of 2D materials innovation with a decade of experience. It has brought together 118 academic and industrial partners in 12 research and innovation projects as well as a coordination and support project. This initiative is crucial in advancing Europe’s strategic autonomy in technologies reliant on graphene and other 2D materials and is funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
The 2D-Experimental Pilot Line is another pivotal component of the Graphene Flagship ecosystem, aiming to address the challenges of upscaling 2D material production processes for the semiconductor industry. Established in 2013, Graphene Flagship operates within the Information Technology sector, aligning with future-focused industries.
