Groupe Aptas

Groupe Aptas is a social economy enterprise located in Sainte-Marie. As a member of the Conseil québécois des entreprises adaptées (CQEA), its mission is to integrate individuals with functional limitations into the labor market through the development of adapted activities and to ensure all its employees are competent individuals. Established in 1980, Groupe Aptas focuses on creating employment opportunities for people with limitations, enabling them to thrive professionally. The company consists of Cartonek and three other divisions: Environek, Kalimage, and Dexterra. The name Aptas was adopted in 2017, derived from the second person singular conjugation of the Latin verb Apto (to adapt), symbolizing its commitment to offering work to adapted labor force.
