Haugland Learning Center is an educational and therapeutic institution that caters to the needs of children and young adults with Autism, Asperger's syndrome, and other developmental disabilities in Ohio. With classroom-based Charter Schools in Columbus/Dublin, Lancaster, Sandusky, and Athens, as well as the Autism Intervention Center in Dublin, OH and home-based programs statewide, the center offers a comprehensive range of services. Founded in 2004, it accommodates students from preschool through twelfth grade and provides an alternative to public schools. The center is eligible for the Autism Scholarship from the Ohio Department of Education, along with the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship for students with other disabilities, making it accessible to a wide demographic. Recognized for promoting academic, social, and emotional growth for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Haugland's success is built on effective instructional methods grounded in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
