Established in 1905, the bank has over 200 employees and assets of nearly $800 million. It merged with BNC Bank in November 2016, and now operates as a part of the latter. In addition to traditional banking services, it offers trust and investment facilities through its own department and operates HPB Insurance Group, which provides personal and commercial lines of insurance. Nonetheless, it's important to note that Investments and Insurance offered by the bank are not FDIC insured, not Bank guaranteed, and may lose value.
