i3S/CNRS is a research laboratory founded in 1989 as a partnership between Université Côte d'Azur and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). The laboratory's scientific activity is organized into 4 scientific poles consisting of 12 research teams, with 5 teams being in collaboration with INRIA. These poles include:
