Ilion Animation Studios is a state-of-the-art animation company based in Madrid. Founded in 2002 by the creators of Pyro Studios, the company specializes in creating CGI animation feature films for global theatrical release. Led creatively by Ignacio Pérez Dolset and managed by Jose F San Román, the studio leverages cutting-edge technology to deliver a unique visual animation experience.

The company's first CG animation feature, Planet 51, was released in 2009 by SONY in the US and subsequently in over 65 countries worldwide. Additionally, their production of Mortadelo y Filemón, based on Spain's most successful comic, was released by Warner Bros in 2014.

Ilion Animation Studios is known for its ongoing collaborations with renowned partners. They won a contest to create the first high-quality animated feature film for the new animation division of Paramount Pictures in the US, leading to the production of Wonder Park slated for a March 15, 2019 release. Furthermore, the company established a multi-year partnership with Skydance Media in 2016 to develop and produce a slate of high-end animated feature films and television series.

Currently, the company has two animated feature films in production. The first, Luck (working title), written by Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger, is set for release in early 2021. The second film, penned by Linda Woolverton, is scheduled for release in late 2021. As a testament to their commitment to the industry, Ilion Animation Studios is a proud partner of U-tad, the first official-degree, private, European university focused on the world of digital arts and technology.
