Intrepid Group is a collection of six tour operator brands and 19 destination management companies, founded in 2013 by the original founders of Intrepid Travel. Committed to altering the way people perceive the world, they have been providing small group travel experiences for 28 years, focusing on immersing participants in local cultures and giving back to the communities visited. Offering around 2000 trips across more than 100 countries on all seven continents, the group caters to various age groups, budgets, and adventure levels through brands such as Adventure Tours Australia, The Family Adventure Company, Geckos Adventures, Intrepid Travel, Peregrine Adventures, and Urban Adventures. Notably, the Intrepid Group has been carbon-neutral since 2010 and its not-for-profit arm, the Intrepid Foundation, has raised $5 million AUD for over 75 local and international charities by matching traveler donations dollar-for-dollar. Despite no recent publicly disclosed investment data, the company is internationally recognized for its commitment to responsible travel.
