Investacast are one of the leading suppliers of investment castings in the UK, working within a wide range of industries including aerospace, nuclear, defence, automotive, marine, communications, military, energy and electronics sectors. Our facility in Ilfracombe operates on the principles which define traditional British manufacturing – technical innovation, skilled workmanship and quality of product. We also have ten foundry and metal forming partners in Asia who offer a complete suite of processes and significant cost reductions. Through our overseas partners, high volume manufacture is easily achieved and covers: · Investment casting · Forging & Pressings · Pressure die casting Investacast offer a complete manufacturing solution, supported by state of the art facilities in the UK which include a research and development centre, bespoke casting simulation, in house tooling and stock holding services. We also offer a full range of additional processes in machining, heat treatment, plating, electro polishing, non destructive testing and DPI. Areas of expertise:- • Transfer manufacturing from current source to our UK and overseas facilities • The conversion of fabrications into cast products • Converting machined from solid parts to casting designs • Prototyping with quick turnaround Not only does all our manufacturing achieve full IS09001 accreditation, guaranteeing a level of superior product quality but we are backed by experience, knowledge and skill to give our customers the ultimate confidence in delivering their products. In 2007, Investacast was acquired by Expromet Technologies Group, a privately-owned foundry group that also owns Haworth Castings, a leading sand and gravity die casting and machining company, and Metaltech Precision, a leading manufacturer of CNC machined components. Expromet harnesses the capabilities of a group of complementary businesses to deliver world class engineering solutions on a global basis.
