The startup uses its model and technology to train local teachers and support them with their product, aiming to improve English literacy and communication skills among students. The team, comprising experienced software engineers with a background in the Global Learning Xprize competition, has made significant strides in West Bengal, where they are present in 10 districts and have onboarded 24 schools, including both government and private institutions. They have already trained over 100 teachers and impacted more than 1500 students.
The company's achievements have not gone unnoticed, as it has gained incubation support from prestigious institutions such as IIM-A, IIM-C, Social Alpha (Tata Trusts), and ISB-Hyderabad. Additionally, Krishworks has received recognition through awards and media coverage in various regional newspapers and platforms such as Yourstory and Radio Mirchi.
Currently, Krishworks is seeking to expand its reach by collaborating with schools, NGOs, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to extend the benefits of its model to more students. Since its establishment in 2015, the company has successfully carved a niche for itself in the education industry, with a promising outlook for further growth and impact.
