About Life Line Stem Cell

Life Line Stem Cell offers expectant parents the opportunity to donate their baby’s cord blood, umbilical cord, and placenta for transplantation and research. These non-embryonic stem cells can enhance the lives of people affected by Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Crohn’s disease, Lupus, Cancer, Multiple sclerosis, Sickle cell anemia, Parkinson’s disease, Spinal cord injuries, and Eye injuries. Cord Blood contains numerous hematopoietic stem cells that help in the treatment of certain diseases including cancers, MS, and other diseases. Cord Blood can only be donated immediately following your baby’s birth. Not only can you donate the cord blood within the umbilical cord, but you can also donate the cord itself. Stem cells from the umbilical cord are used to treat auto-immune diseases such as Parkinson’s and Crohn’s. They are also used in vaccines for epidemic viruses. The amniotic membrane is the innermost layer of the placenta. Amnion can be used to repair a damaged eye surface, diabetic wounds, serve as a temporary burn barrier, and breast reconstruction to name a few. With the hard work of our Cord Blood Technicians, who perform our collections, Life Line Stem Cell finds great honor in being a part of donor services and medical research.
