Its primary operations are focused on the treatment of organic waste and contaminated masses, with major facilities in Drammen, Tønsberg, and Oredalen. Notably, Lindum operates two biogas plants that process sewage sludge, fat, and other substrates to produce eco-friendly biogas for vehicles and biogas residue for new food production. In addition, the company features a greenhouse where tomatoes are cultivated using biogas residue and CO2 from biogas production, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable practices.
One of Lindum's exceptional initiatives is 'Den Magiske Fabrikken,' where it collaborates with private companies, academia, and farmers to establish a circular system benefiting the local community.
