Lotte is a multinational corporation with over 60 business units across various sectors, including candy manufacturing, beverages, hotels, fast food, retail, financial services, heavy chemicals, electronics, IT, construction, publishing, and entertainment.

Lotte holds the position of the largest confectionery manufacturer in South Korea. Founded in June 1948 in Tokyo by Shin Kyuk-Ho, it expanded into South Korea with the establishment of Lotte Confectionary Co., Ltd in Seoul on April 3, 1967.
