Lucky Fish Co. is a Turkey-based company specializing in the integrated production of Mediterranean fish species. The company handles the entire process from breeding fish and manufacturing fish feed to offshore fish farming and processing. Lucky Fish exports its processed fish to advanced economies such as the UK, France, and the USA, adhering to international quality standards including BRC, IFS, GLOBAL GAP, and HACCP. The company, founded in 1986 by the Kopuzmar family, has expanded its operations over the years, including the acquisition of a processing plant and the addition of new caging capacities. In 2013, the private equity firm Mediterra Capital acquired a 100 percent stake in Lucky Fish. Today, the company, under the umbrella of Mediterra Capital Management Limited, has its headquarters in Izmir and facilities in Aydin and Mugla. With a total capacity of 78 million juveniles, 7200 tonnes of fish farming, and 25,000 tonnes of feed mill, Lucky Fish is poised for further growth and investments in the Food and Beverage industry.
