The Meaningful Entrepreneurship Program (MEP) is an innovative global online program tailored for high school juniors and seniors. Led by Stanford educators, university and high school student graduates of MEP, and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, MEP offers a highly interactive 2-week curriculum. With 80% hands-on activities and 20% lectures, this program is designed to empower students to take risks, overcome fears, and realize their potential.
MEP focuses on guiding students to design products for real-world problems using design thinking, develop business skills through the business model canvas, and uncover their passions, fears, and resilience based on behavioral science. The program encourages students to explore their passions and address their fears, providing them with the opportunity to work on team projects to develop innovative solutions to meaningful problems, culminating in a business presentation to communicate the value of their solutions.
Initially taught as part of the Stanford Pre-Collegiate program, MEP equips students with self-awareness and problem-solving skills, offering a unique combination of personal inward exploration and innovation.
