MEND, founded in 1969 by nine Moorestown, N.J. churches, is a private, nonprofit corporation that develops, builds, owns and manages affordable rental housing in southern New Jersey. Our housing portfolio provides a wide variety of below-market rental apartments for low and moderate income individuals and families. MEND’s housing is available to households needing a helping hand in securing a decent, safe, affordable place to call home including single adults, senior citizens, families and persons with special needs. We work in partnership with municipalities which are seeking to fulfill their state-mandated affordable housing obligations.
