NSLComm has developed flexible, fabric-like dish antennas that expand in space, providing high throughput communications for small satellites and significant cost savings (approximately 10 times) for larger satellites. The potential bandwidth of NSL’s system is up to 100 times greater than that of the best performing Nano Satellite available today, with much lower mass and volume. NSL asserts that its deployable antennas could bring one of the most significant advancements in satellite antenna performance-to-weight ratios in recent years, positioning the company advantageously in a market focused intently on size and weight at launch. The company was founded in 2009 and operates in the industries of Messaging and Telecommunications, Space, and Telecom.
