Pacific & Orient Berhad originated as a private limited company in 1994, later acquiring Pacific & Orient Insurance (P&O Insurance), one of Malaysia's largest general insurers. In 1995, the company was listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
Since its inception, Pacific & Orient Berhad has expanded into diverse business sectors, including financial services and Information Technology services. These ventures benefit from a shared pool of human and information resources, which the Group leverages in seeking new business and investment opportunities.
The Group’s primary focus lies in the areas of financial services and Information Technology (IT).
