Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) was established in 1994 and serves as the development arm for the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). It is primarily tasked with supervising the engineering and development of large-scale oil and gas projects, focusing on exploring, extracting, and producing crude oil, natural gas, and other hydrocarbons.
