ReCatalyst

ReCatalyst is an EU-level recognized Start-up company and Slovenian Start-up-of-the-year in 2023. The company specializes in developing and marketing services in the field of nanotechnology materials, with a current focus on the development and commercialization of next-gen platinum-based catalyst composites for hydrogen fuel cells. Additionally, it aims to expand its catalyst production platform to areas such as water electrolysis and other Power to X applications for decarbonization of the energy and transport sectors. ReCatalyst has established development collaborations with key industry players in five G7 economies and has received support from the prestigious European EIC Transition financing, along with a €1.7M investment from international investors.

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Slovenia, ReCatalyst secured a €1.70M Seed Round investment on 12 July 2023. The investment was contributed by Occident, RUG Ventures, xista science ventures, HTGF | High-Tech Gruenderfonds, and Tine Tomažič.
