ReReeti Foundation is an organization based in Bangalore, India, with a mission to transform Indian museums into spaces of learning, delight, and meaningful engagement. Founded in 2015, the company focuses on three main areas: Audience Development, Capacity Building, and Education.
Under Audience Development, ReReeti Foundation designs and executes strategies and programs to help museums and cultural institutions better engage with their audience and create a community of their own. The interdisciplinary team builds strategic solutions, catering to museums at all stages of development.
Through the Capacity Building vertical, the company operates India’s first museum sector-focused blog and conducts online workshops for museum and cultural professionals to enhance their skill sets.
ReReeti Foundation's Education initiatives make history relatable, relevant, and reachable to young people. The Retihaas program brings an interdisciplinary lens to the study of historical events through interactive teaching modules and educational programs for schools and museums.
In addition to these verticals, the company runs the Indian Museums Against Climate Change (IMACC) program, aiming to make the museums of India cleaner, greener, and more sustainable. The program supports museums in incorporating a sustainable lens on collections and exhibitions and hosts capacity-building workshops to train museum staff in sustainable practices and interpretations.
With a focus on transforming the museum experience in India, ReReeti Foundation is at the forefront of creating accessible, equitable, and sustainable cultural spaces in the country's local communities.
