Save the Children Indonesia is a registered entity under the name of Yayasan Save the Children Indonesia based on SK Kemenkumham No. AHU-0001042.AH.01.05 Tahun 2021. As part of the global movement Save the Children International, it advocates for children's rights in over 120 countries worldwide. The mission in Indonesia has been ongoing since 1976.
Currently, Save the Children operates in 9 provinces, 79 regencies, 701 districts, and 918 villages. The programs have a cross-sector focus, including education, health, child protection, poverty, governance of child rights, and disaster response.
