SUVIDHA

SUVIDHA: SUVIDHA, abbreviated as Society for the Upliftment of Villagers & Development of Himalayan Areas, is a non-profit organization focused on sustainable rural development. Established in 2004, the company aims to address poverty, unemployment, poor health, and illiteracy in the backward areas of India, with a focus on Climate Change, Agriculture, Rural Development, Women Empowerment, Education, and Health.

For the past 13 years, SUVIDHA has been actively promoting organic and sustainable agriculture, facilitating the establishment of nearly 256 producer groups and contract production projects in multiple Indian states. Notably, they initiated 'Project Prayaas' to counter Climate Change, registered under the Gold Standard Foundation- Switzerland, focusing on carbon emissions reduction through the installation of Bio-Gas units in Nainital District, Uttarakhand.
