About The Faison Center

The Faison Center, a nonprofit autism center dedicated to providing resources across the lifespan for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and their families. The Faison Centerrepresents a unique private/public partnership collaboration between a nonprofit center and major university research partners: the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University, and the Teachers College at Columbia University. Through our three-pronged approach of evidence based treatment, research, and community education, The Faison Center serves as a learning center where the most effective autism therapies are used, taught, and shared. We are dedicated to giving each child the best chance he or she has to improve their life's journey. Our philosophy is a holistic one, focusing on the child, their family, and all those who touch and enrich their lives. The center is located in Richmond, Virginia. The Faison Center is a 501C 3 not for profit organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, creed, or gender. It is accredited by CABAS®.
