THE LOGISTICS GROUP (TLG), founded in 2019, is an integrated logistics service provider based in South Africa. Emerging from the unbundling of logistics assets from Capespan, it has deep roots in SA port terminals dating back to the 1980s. The company was notably acquired in April 2022 by private equity fund African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) and the Mokobela-Shataki Consortium, marking one of the largest empowerment transactions in the sector in South Africa.

TLG has been executing a corridor strategy since 2019, aimed at creating a cohesive and efficient supply chain across Southern Africa. With over forty years of inherited industry experience and a focus on becoming the leading logistics corridor in the region, TLG leverages its entrepreneurial ethos and experienced team to cement its position as a logistics giant in Southern Africa and beyond.
