ToniK Productions is a production house focused on creating family-friendly films and television series. One of their notable works is the adaptation of Christopher Paul Curtis’ The Watsons Go to Birmingham – 1963, produced in collaboration with Walden Media, Hallmark, Walmart, and Proctor & Gamble. Another significant project was bringing Lois Lowry’s Newbery Award-winning novel, The Giver, to the big screen, featuring Academy Award-winning actors such as Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep, and distributed by The Weinstein Company and Walden Media.
Established in 2013, ToniK is currently engaged in the adaptation of several books, including The Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter, Monster by Walter Dean Myers, and Gotham Diaries by Tonya Lewis Lee and Crystal McCrary Anthony.
