Tubby’s Kitchen is a Retail startup based in South Africa, founded in 2018. The company's slogan, “Connecting health, food and cannabis by stocking kitchens with choice cannabis flavors to infuse the dining experience,” reflects its unique approach to infusing cannabis into culinary experiences. Run by Mum and Son Team Heidene and Dillan, Tubby’s initially focused on crafting a variety of teas, chili pastes, and spices, incorporating CBD to create delicious flavors derived from South Africa’s classic Rooibos, Buchu, and Honeybush Teas.
What sets Tubby’s apart is their commitment to using only the freshest seasonal ingredients in all products, which took more than 2 years to perfect. It's worth noting that Tubby’s prides itself on infusing its products with natural CBD cannabis plant instead of chemically produced CBD oil, maintaining authenticity and quality straight from the farm.
The latest milestone for Tubby’s was a Pre Seed Round investment received on 30 July 2022 from Aions Creative Technology, marking an important step towards the company's growth and development.
