Since its establishment in 1927, the organization has been committed to fostering personal and community growth in Adams County. With a vision to serve as the hub for learning, recreation, and enhancing emotional and physical well-being, the YWCA provides a range of programs and services.
Operating from its headquarters in Cumberland Township since 1981, the YWCA also operates childcare facilities at the Adams Commerce Center and Fairfield Elementary School, catering to up to 305 children. Its award-winning amenities include a fitness center, racquetball courts, a swimming pool, whirlpool, aerobic exercise rooms, and a gymnasium, complemented by classes and programs for all age groups, promoting a healthy lifestyle in the community.
