Competitive landscape

Eight questions. We stand alone on three.

Compiled from every published taxonomy, pricing page and API document in this market. A dash means the vendor does not publish an answer — not that the product is worse. Three of the eight, nobody publishes at all.

Market structure

Four layers.
Nobody sells the fourth.

Most comparison questions are really a question about which layer you are shopping in. You can buy the first three from somebody. The fourth is the one that decides whether the other three were worth running.

The marked rows are where we stand alone — and they answer a question this market has not been asked yet: what does your data say when it does not know?

Publishing changes. If a row is out of date on your product, tell us and we will correct it and re-date the table.

The three

What does your data say
when it does not know?

These three did not matter much while a person read every row. They matter enormously the moment software does.

'No signal' is not 'not checked'

An empty result usually reads as "nothing happened". Often it means "nobody looked". Every answer we return carries how recently we observed that specific company, so an absence can be trusted or discounted on purpose.

A rumour is marked as a rumour

Some signals are confirmed by a filing or an announcement; some are reported and not yet confirmed. Both are useful. Silently mixing them is what turns a research tool into a liability.

An agent can subscribe, not just poll

A server that only answers questions makes your agent ask again, and again, and pay each time. Ours can be told to watch a company and hand back what changed when it next runs.

Already using one of these?

Most of these are not replaced by us — they answer a different layer's question. Each page says plainly where the other product is the better fit.

Don't take the table's word for it.

Type a company you know. You will get its signals, and the date we last looked at it.
