Bohai Securities Co., Ltd. is an investment banking company based out of 8 BINSHUI WEST ROAD, NANKAI DISTRICT, Tianjin, China. It is the only comprehensive securities company registered in Tianjin Binhai New Area. Formerly known as Bohai Securities Limited Liability Company, it was established through the merger and reorganization of the securities business departments of four trust institutions: Tianjin Securities Limited Liability Company, Tianjin International Trust and Investment Company, Tianjin Trust and Investment Company, Tianjin Northern International Trust and Investment Company, and Tianjin Binhai Trust and Investment Co., Ltd. On June 8, 2001, it officially opened for business. In August 2007, after evaluation by the China Securities Industry Association, the company obtained the qualification of standardized securities firm. In May 2008, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company was restructured into a joint stock limited company. In the 2014 annual rating of securities firms under classified supervision, the company was rated as Class B, BBB level. Currently, the actual controller of the company is Tianjin Taida Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., with 25 shareholders and a registered capital of 4,037,194,486 yuan. The company is headquartered in Tianjin, with branch offices in Shanghai and Beijing. As of December 31, 2013, the company has 48 securities business departments in key provinces, cities, and regions nationwide.
