Our story began in 1988, when Robert Sun, a successful inventor and entrepreneur, embarked on a journey to teach children the relationship between numbers through the engaging characteristics of games. The result of his initial efforts was the 24 Game, a unique mathematics teaching tool that is as universal in its appeal to students from diverse economic and social backgrounds as math is universal as a language. The company Sun founded, Suntex International, Inc., is an organization committed to furthering mathematics education. Our objective is to support students in developing math skills that will sustain them for a lifetime by promoting permanent skill retention - not just short-term memorization of facts. As a logical step toward that objective, in response to the opportunities in the marketplace and the needs in the classroom, the First In Math Online Mathematics Program was created.
