The motivation for Purvi Capital took shape as the great blizzard of 2011 poured sleet and snow at rates exceeding 4 inches/hour over Chicago streets. What started out as just another routine day, ended in quite a humbling experience. It continues to remind us that while some events are well beyond our control, we can always find opportunities in adversities. By being prepared, by choosing who we work with and by picking meaningfully the problems to work on. Sometimes, it takes a blizzard to offer opportunities for making snow-angels and skiing down lake shore drive. At Purvi Capital, LLC, we provide strategic planning, business mentorship and access to seed funding to early-stage technology startups with an underlying capacity and intent for high impact. We closely partner with highly passionate & motivated teams pursuing simple, intelligent, scalable ideas and support them through the conceptualization, MVP implementation, product-market fit & early growth phases. We strive to align ourselves with the long-term interests of mentee firms with high-impact, high-return partnerships. On occasions, we selectively engage in providing hands-on and strategic consulting services in the areas of Evolutionary Computation and Virtual Intelligence to tech-centric and data-centric companies to help them stand out from the crowd by using these powerful technologies. On a positioning chart with shareholder value on X-axis and sustainable, holistic stakeholder impact on Y-axis, we like to work with startups aimed at being in the top-center to top-right quadrant.
