Which clients should we call this quarter, about what, and before which deadline?
The brief
Advisers know their clients. They rarely know what changed since the last claim. Patents granted, rounds raised, new sites and filing dates are all public, and none of it reaches the consultant who owns the relationship in time. We built the radar on the firm's own book to answer one question: which clients need a call now, about what, and by when?

What we built
- Traced 68 clients from the firm's own case studies, testimonials and funding records, and matched each to its Companies House filings.
- Read every active client's recent events: patents, funding rounds, acquisitions, new sites, leadership changes and grant awards.
- Computed each client's claim windows and filing dates from its accounting reference date, then laid nine competition windows and rule dates on top.
- Mapped each event to the firm's own catalogue: R&D tax, Patent Box, capital allowances, grants and enquiry support.
- Wrote one page per client: an analyst note, the dated evidence and up to three next services with the right contact, ready to forward.
What the signals showed
Most active clients had a dated deadline within five months. The firm was not missing need. It was missing timing.
A granted patent, a fresh equity raise, a new office: each dated, sourced and tied to a service the firm already sells.
Most clients sit on one or two steps of the service path. The report names the next step for each.
How it ran
- 01Trace
Clients found in the firm's own public trail and matched to registry filings.
- 02Signal
Funding, patents, sites, hires and grants read for each client.
- 03Match
Each event tied to a service, a deadline and a decision maker.
- 04Verify
Every dated claim checked against a second, independent source.
What the firm got
A call list for the quarter, one page per client for each consultant, and a service map that turns shared triggers into one campaign instead of 28 separate emails. The same work can now run across the whole portfolio every two weeks.
