CCOF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing organic agriculture and envisioning a world where organic is the norm. Founded in 1973 and rooted in California, the organization has expanded its presence across North America with international recognition. CCOF is supported by a diverse community of farmers, ranchers, processors, retailers, consumers, and policymakers, all working towards a future where organic practices prevail.

Comprising of three distinct entities, CCOF, Inc. provides infrastructure for certification, advocacy, and foundation programs, offering support to over 3,000 members through a regional chapter system. CCOF Certification Services, LLC is a USDA National Organic Program (NOP)-accredited organic certification agency operating in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The CCOF Foundation focuses on educational programs, grants for organic farming students and teachers, hardship assistance for organic farmers, and consumer education campaigns.
