About Celare Quantum Communications

Celare Quantum Communications makes Quantum Key Distribution systems that use the principles of quantum physics to generate future-proof cryptographic keys for secure data transmission. Our continuous-variable QKD technology is designed to work with existing fiber and telecommunications infrastructure, enabling organizations to strengthen security without rebuilding their networks. Built on more than 20 years of quantum communication research at the Technical University of Denmark, Celare is turning laboratory breakthroughs into deployable products for real-world networks. Our technology is designed for telecom environments, including network cabinet deployment, wavelength-division multiplexing, and use over fiber infrastructure without requiring dedicated dark fiber. We work with deeptech investors, telecom partners, cybersecurity vendors, infrastructure providers and public-sector stakeholders to bring quantum-secure communication into critical systems. Celare is also part of major Danish and European quantum initiatives focused on scalable, market-ready protection for critical digital infrastructure.
