Falafel Games is a Lebanon-based startup that specializes in culturally relevant games, particularly in the massively multiplayer genres of Strategy and RPG. The company has a unique strength in developing authentic Arabic content, setting it apart in the market. Established in 2010, the startup received a $2.60M Series A investment from MEVP and iSME on 11 October 2016.
One of their standout achievements includes creating the first-ever webgame MMO with authentic Arabic content, garnering millions of users and significant revenues. Their game, *Forsan el Majd*, has served as a role model for top grossing Chinese games in the MENA region. Additionally, their strategy MMO, *Harb el Hurub*, was a breakthrough innovation and a first in the MENA, allowing cross-platform play between web and iOS, achieving an impressive LTV to CPI ratio of 9x.
