FinComBank SA

FinComBank SA is one of the leading universal commercial banks in the Republic of Moldova. Established in 1993 as a joint-stock company, the bank holds license No. 004460 from the National Bank of Moldova. With 137 shareholders, 550 employees, and over 100,000 clients, FinComBank offers a wide range of corporate and investment banking services to local and foreign citizens.

The bank's 17 branches and 32 agencies are located throughout the Republic. It has demonstrated strong financial performance, development dynamics, and stability, attracting the attention of western donor organizations and financial institutions seeking reliable partners in Moldova.

In August 2007, the well-known American venture fund Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) acquired 25% of the bank's shares, becoming one of its major shareholders. FinComBank is a founding member of the Association of Banks of Moldova and the Moldovan Stock Exchange, as well as a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova.

The bank has been recognized as "Taxpayer of the Year" and received the "Golden Mercury" award for "Socially Responsible Brand" in 2008. Furthermore, it has successfully collaborated with the World Bank, European Fund for Southeast Europe, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and Rural Investment and Services Project (RISP).

FinComBank's last recorded investment was a Private Equity Round investment on December 13, 2007, with the participation of Horizon Capital.
