Founded in January 2013 by three scientists from the University of South Carolina, IMCS aims to meet the increasing needs of clinical and research laboratories with advanced technologies that enhance testing efficiency. The company's products cater to driving precision medicine, ensuring accuracy and delivering fast, reliable results.
IMCS boasts two product lines: IMCSzyme® and IMCStips®. The disruptive IMCSzyme is a genetically modified enzyme widely utilized in clinical, forensic, and pain care laboratories for drug screening and urine analysis. On the other hand, IMCStips are advanced micro-chromatography products featuring patented dispersive solid-phase extraction (dSPE) technology used in purifying new proteins, antibodies, and enzymes in drug target discovery and validation, drug development, and manufacturing.
Recently, IMCS secured NIH SBIR and STTR funds for manufacturing various glycosyltransferases, leveraging its advanced manufacturing and research capabilities to expand the synthesis of glycosphingolipids and sialoglycans, introducing new product lines and critical biological reagents for the scientific community.
Headquartered in the United States, IMCS targets clinical and forensic toxicology laboratories, academic research facilities, US government agencies, and health science companies globally, overseeing a promising future in the precision medicine sector.
