MedicSen, a Spanish startup founded in 2014, is revolutionizing diabetes treatment with its innovative approach. The company has developed an application that integrates continuous glucose monitoring data with user-input or smart device-collected parameters to provide users with a comprehensive record of their glucose levels and reliable predictions of future values. This predictive capability offers patients a greater sense of security in managing their daily routines.
Additionally, MedicSen has initiated the #1000xladiabetes challenge, aiming to garner the support of 1000 patients who will be the first to access the system for free and contribute to its improvement. Furthermore, the company is working on a needle-free Smart-patch for insulin administration, with the first viable prototype already in development.
