The foundation's Board of Directors, comprising 13 community members, strives to garner philanthropic backing and community participation for the Milwaukee County Parks system. Its mission is to involve the community in collectively nurturing a flourishing park system, while envisioning to create dynamic connections within the community and expand the possibilities within neighborhoods by fostering support for a secure and vibrant parks system.
In September 2023, the foundation received a $300.00K grant investment from Johnson Controls, signifying external recognition and support for its endeavors. With its headquarters in the United States, the Milwaukee Parks Foundation stands as a beacon for promoting community involvement in building a sustainable and thriving park system for all.
